Interested in facilitating ways for your students to express gratitude towards other teachers in your school? Here are some activities to engage your students and promote appreciation across your building:

1. Word Clouds: Encourage students to describe their teachers in three words. Generate word clouds representing each teacher, which they can exhibit in their classrooms.
2. Personalized Thank You Cards: There’s something special about a handwritten note expressing gratitude. Provide students with art supplies and encourage them to craft personalized thank you cards for you or another teacher. 
3. Teacher Interview or Q&A: Teachers often ask the questions, but this week, let’s turn the tables. Organize a session where students can interview their teachers or engage in a lively Q&A. 
4. Teacher Superlatives: Let’s add some fun to Teacher Appreciation Week with classroom awards! Students can nominate teachers for playful titles like “The Encourager,” “The Problem-Solver,” or “The Creativity Champion.”
5. Random Acts of Kindness: Small gestures can make a big difference. Encourage students to perform random acts of kindness for their teachers throughout the week.
